Graduation FAQ's

• All caste seeking students should use for program completion upon registering for their concluding courses. Once you have applied and if yous are not registered for all of your final courses, and plan on transferring in your remaining requirements you may be contacted past your Academic  Advisor or the Registrar'southward Part to submit a Student Didactics Program (SEP).

  Licensure and Document students should utilize for program completion before completing their final class. Delight note that licensure-but and certificate-but completers do not participate in the Commencement Ceremony.

• Online Awarding

  All degree seeking students should apply for program completion upon registering for their final courses. To complete the application click here.

  1. On the showtime screen, select the electric current term. Your completion term will be called later.

  3. On the Completion Term page, select the term in which you lot will consummate your program requirements.

  Follow Upwards

  Undergraduate students (traditional/non-traditional) may be contacted by their Academic Advisor or the Registrar'due south Office to submit a Student Education Programme (SEP) using the Degree Inspect tool. To submit a program, students must first get into their Degree Inspect by clicking on the link in the Advising and Student Resources tab. In one case in the Caste Inspect, select the "Plans" tab. The programme will then need to be reviewed and canonical by a student'south Academic Counselor and/or the Registrar's Part. If you have questions on how to submit a SEP programme please contact your bookish advisor.

  Graduate students do non need to submit a SEP program.

• Grades are due from instructors one week afterwards the last twenty-four hour period of the term. • Merely undergraduate caste-completing students are eligible to earn honors. Graduate students are not eligible as they must maintain a iii.0 GPA to remain in their program.

  Undergraduate students who complete lx or more than credits at CSP and meet the post-obit GPA requirements will earn Latin honors:

  • 3.vi – 3.74 Cum Laude
  • 3.75 – 3.89 Magna Cum Laude
  • three.ix – iv.0 Summa Cum Laude

  Undergraduate students who complete 59 or fewer credits at CSP and meet the following GPA requirements will earn honors:

  • iii.75 – iii.89 with Distinction
  • 3.9 – 4.0 with High Distinction

  Honors listed in the commencement plan will existestimated if your degree is not yet awarded andmay modify based on your final grades and cumulative GPA when your caste is awarded. The honors earned, if any, at the time your degree is awarded will be printed on your transcript and diploma. If your degree is awarded afterward the showtime ceremony and your estimated honors inverse, you may request to exchange your medallion or pin by contacting the Registrar's Office at 651-641-8233 or [electronic mail protected]

• The laurels date on your diploma will coincide with the term in which y'all complete your program requirements and your degree is awarded. Information technology may non exist the same date as your First Ceremony.

  In some cases, the appointment on your diploma may exist later than the date that you have actually "graduated" or completed your degree requirements. If your employer or another third party requires verification that your degree is valid considering of the engagement differential, the Registrar's Office can write a letter to verify that your degree has been earned.
